Turquoise Necklace

This stunning robin's egg blue necklace is made from high quality turquoise mined from the world-known Sleeping Beauty Turquoise Mine in Arizona. 

The Sleeping Beauty Mine was named for the mountain in which the mine is located because it is said that the mountain looks like a sleeping lady. The Anasazi were the first to discover it, but it was rediscovered in the early 1900s to mine copper and gold. Soon after, turquoise was accidentally found. Nowadays, Sleeping Beauty Turquoise is highly sought after for its pure color and little veining.
